Jason Guay – Registered Psychotherapist
As a licensed psychotherapist, Jason’s passion is helping each unique individual and family reach their full potential. Through compassionate understanding and evidence-based techniques, he strives to create a safe space for personal exploration and growth.
With two decades of clinical experience, his areas of expertise include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, anxiety disorders, addictions, trauma treatment, and Emotion Focused Family Therapy. Jason takes a holistic, strengths-based approach tailored to each client’s specific needs and goals. Whether working with children, adolescents, adults or multi-generational families, his primary aim is fostering empowerment, resilience, and positive change.
In addition to individual and family therapy, Jason has a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Through identifying and modifying challenging thought and behaviour patterns, CBT has proven highly effective for conditions such as depression, OCD, and relationship difficulties. He is also trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills for managing emotions.
Outside of the therapy office, Jason maintains a lively curiosity about human behaviour and stay up-to-date on the latest research. His enthusiasm for psychology stems from its potential to illuminate our shared struggles and spark insight toward better living. He finds It deeply rewarding to witness clients cultivate inner strength, relieve suffering, and discover new ways of engaging with themselves and others.
