Olivia Girolami, Psychotherapy Student
Olivia Girolami (she/her) is a masters in counselling psychology practicum student at Yorkville University and is supervised by Sue Lymburner, Registered Psychotherapist.
Over the course of 20 years, Olivia has been involved in supporting those experiencing life change, grief, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and substance use. Using a person-centred approach, she creates a safe and compassionate space in which to facilitate learning. Olivia is interested in cognitive behavioural therapy, body-centred therapy, mindfulness, and creative expression. She is very passionate about group therapy as she has experienced and witnessed the beneficial results of supportive community learning.
Olivia believes we all have the power to change, to learn new ways of being, and the ability to become fully alive in our lives.
